As many of you know, I’ve been accepted into an artist residency in Greece this May! 🇬🇷
I am so very excited to have this opportunity and focus on simply creating in a completely new environment. I’m looking forward to the culture, the food, the people, the art, the list goes on. Having a break from running my business, Portland Paints and being able to shift my focus onto creating what I want to create is so exciting. Residencies like this are incredible opportunities, but they’re often self funded. To help cover my costs, I’m doing a little print fundraising. Here’s how it works:
Choose the piece you’d like as a postcard sized print.
Send any amount you’d like via Venmo @MLynnSuwinski (there is no required amount)
Message me the title of the artwork you chose + your mailing address. Facebook, text, Instagram (@mlynnsuwinski), email.
I’ll print and mail you a postcard sized print of your selection. I’ll begin sending them out at the beginning of May.
Your support directly helps with my flight, materials, and residency expenses. Creating prints for people to purchase has been a goal of mine for many years now. This is dipping my toe into that very thing and I am so excited to be able to send you all prints!
I’m also opening up a limited number of custom pieces in the months leading up to the residency (pet portraits, paintings, etc.). Send me a message if you’d like to chat about a custom piece.
Thank you for your support! I appreciate it greatly ❤️ During my time in Greece I will be solely focused on creating. I will be sharing the bulk of my experiences on Instagram @mlynnsuwinski and through a blog I will share as the time gets closer.

Gone Fishing
I painted a fish for my papa for his birthday a few years ago. I loved it. I’ve had a particular inclination for fish art since then.
Sun + Moon
My take on the classic woman kissing the moon Vintage art noveu piece. I love exploring the relationship between humans and our natural surroundings.
Beetle
An iridescent beetle series. In the first grade, I walked to school unknowingly with 8 beetles in my shoe. They started to come out from under the sole as I walked and they crawled over my feet. I still check my shoes to this day. 1 of 3
Reindeer
A Christmas reindeer I created for my home this most recent season. I’ve historically been a bit of a Christmas Grinch, this season the tree stayed up for nearly two months.
Zion National Park
Inspired by my time in southern Utah. There’s a part of me that will always belong to the desert and feel at home nestled in the dusty red rock.
Coffee Shop Lady
One of my favorite murals. It’s such a privilege to paint beautiful people.
Black and White Smiles
A piece I completed in Marietta Georgia a few years ago. This one is for my grandma and papa :)
Red
A cute digital art portrait created using some new Procreate brushes I recently got.
Cosmic Babe
Cute digital experimental line art from my early Procreate days.
The Tambourine Girl
A chalk recreation of The Tambourine Girl by Gaetano de Martini. I have loved this painting for years and finally had the opportunity to recreate it in chalk.
